Gosh they sure grow up fast don't they? Beatle is now an "almost 3 yr old" gelding, standing 13.2 1/2 hands tall. I expect that he will finish close to 14 hands. He continues to be a sweet pony to have around and never causes any trouble. He gets along well with all the other herd members and especially loves to play with his fellow ponies Magoo and Peter.. They are still so much fun to watch.
I am hoping to get Beatle placed in a new home ASAP as I am really over crowded. To this end, I have price this nice gelding far below what I would normally ask for him. At this point I just need to get him sold. He would make a fabulous project pony for someone looking either for pony to keep long term or one to train up and sell at a profit.
*Beatle
was born out in the field on the night of April 24,2004. At first glance I
thought he was a straight haired foal, but when he dried out a bit his hair
curled right up and he showed that he is most definatly not straight haired.
This colt is out of one of my best kid's ponies, Koko and has her friendly
personality.. Beatle's sire is a Curly/Warmblood cross and has added a dose
of elegance and nice movement to this colt.

is fast growing up into a personable young man with lots of
"presence".. He is friendly as can be and is learning all his baby
lessons quickly and well. He gets along well in the herd and has even been known
to "sweet talk" one of the other mares into letting him have a quick
nurse on her rather then going to find his mom.. What a smooth talker he must be!!
Though I have read that the silver dapple gene does not affect sorrel colored horses at all, I am not so sure that is totally the case. Beatles summer coat has come in with tones of pewter in places, they look very much like his mother. It is particularly noticeable on his belly and legs. Try as I might, I cannot capture the subtleties of this color in a picture. And I do try every chance I get.
As Beatle matures, he continues to impress me with his movement and build. He looks and moves like a small horse and is always a joy to have around.
Beatle is for sale and will be ideal for a child or small adult.
