I just don't think I can say enough good things about this colt. He is all I could have ever asked for out of the cross between *Harmony (my favorite and best producing mare) and the spectacular imported WB stallion Sempatico. Size, conformation, and quality, this colt has it all. Well, ok, I would have asked for a tiny bit more body white then what *Harley ended up with. However, he IS a pinto and will be able to throw more color and in the mean time, I will not have to hassle with keeping a most white horse clean. ;-)
*Harley is blessed with his dam's mellow, accepting temperament (and her curls too!!) and has his sire's incredible movement. He has lots of "float" and freedom through his shoulders. I was also tickled pink to see that he has more length of neck then his dam does. Overall, this is the best colt I have produced to date and I couldn't be happier with him. Where ever he goes he is noticed and commented upon favorably.
*Harley is not for sale at this time. My intention is to test breed him as a 2 yr old and see what he produces. He also will be put under saddle and shown out in the "real world" of sport horses. Eventing is where I would like to head with him, but time will tell if that is where his talent lies. In the meantime, Harley will be inspected with CSI as soon as possible and if I can manage to get him out and shown in some of the local in hand classes for sport horses, he'll get some show experience as well.
